Welding Operator Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.00 to $ 20.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 06:00am to02:30pm )
- Overtime currently running to 3:30pm as needed with some Saturdays (voluntary & sometimes mandatory)
- Have basic MIG welding to print specifications using manual operations & fixturing
- Check basic dimensions with company provided tools
- Stack finished parts on skids
- Reports all damaged parts or quality defects
- Working with a variety of different gauges
- MIG Welding
- Thin to thick gauge welding
- All PPE is supplied
Welding Operator Qualifications:
- Blueprint reading is a required
- Experience working with different gauges
- Ability to read a tape measure, metric & standard
- Use digital calipers
- Basic computer knowledge
- Able to stand an entire 9-hour shift & lift 40 pounds repeatedly, occasionally more than 40 pounds
- Good communication skills
- Follow direction & work well within a team
- Simple Welding/Fabrication skills required
- Resumes, interviews, & welding test required
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
