Heavy Equipment Operator
Elwood Skill Staff has immediate permanent openings for Heavy Equipment Operators with 3+yrs of experience with Loaders, Excavators, Graders, Skid Steer &, Backhoe.

Heavy Equipment Operator Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
28.00 to $ 30.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to05:00pm )
- Ability to operate heavy equipment in a productive, efficient and safe manner.
- Perform daily maintenance and tracking of hours on utilized equipment.
- Ability to take direction from supervisors to complete daily tasks and meet job site goals.
- Properly follow company and OSHA safety procedures.
- Will be prepping ground for new project.
- Candidates should have experience working with and around utilities.
Heavy Equipment Operator Qualifications:
- Must be able to pass background check for HAFB and the SLC Airport
- Experience operating heavy equipment.
- Previous experience working with and around utilities
- Must be willing to work outdoors in any and all weather conditions
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be willing to travel to different job sites
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
- Must be willing to work overtime and weekends (5-6) days per week as directed by supervisor.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
- Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
