Welder Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.00 / hour Full Time work availableVarious shifts available ( Monday throughFriday )
1st Shift: 5am-2:30pm 2nd Shift: 3pm-1:30am
- Fabrication of steel molds for concrete which includes use of hand and power tools, welding operations, and use of lifting equipment.
- Fabrication of steel form parts using various cutting equipment and welding parts together per specifications
- Other duties may be assigned as needed
Welder Qualifications:
• Ability to read fractions and a tape measure
• Ability to read shop prints
• Understanding of basic hand and power tools and their use
• Capable of Arc & MIG welding both horizontal and vertical, with ability to pass certification
• Capable of using oxy/fuel torch to cut steel
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Experience using industrial steel tooling such as vertical band saw, drill press, grinders, etc
• Prior use of plasma cutter Prior use of fork trucks and rolling equipment
• Prior use of overhead bridge cranes
