Cost Accountant

Cost Accountant Details:

• Direct Hire position
• $60,000.00 /annually
• Salaried (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)

• Analyze and confirm actual manufacturing costs by collecting, interpreting, and reporting data.
• Determine manufacturing cost of operations through actual costing methods.
• Collect operational data to calculate, review, confirm, and analyze actual manufacturing costs.
• Perform trend analyses and forecasts and recommend actions/prepare reports
• Works closely with the Sales Department to ensure timely invoicing of progressive payments.
• Post customers’ payments as received.
• Contact customers in an effort to collect on past-due accounts. 
• Code freight bills for Accounts Payable processing.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
