Assistant Maintenance Mechanic Details:
Temporary position- $
20.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 09:00am to05:00pm )
- Work on mechanical/electrical components: shafts, bearings, gear boxes, pumps, motors, drives, 3 phase power.
- Maintain and troubleshoot conveyor systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, automation, and controls.
- Read and interpret both electrical and mechanical drawings; perform scheduled and emergency repairs.
- Diagnose problems, replace/repair parts, test, and make necessary adjustments; perform regular preventive maintenance.
- Operate hand & power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment; comply with safety regulations.
Assistant Maintenance Mechanic Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial skills.
- Ability to read and interpret both electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Experience with PLC (preferred) and automation and controls troubleshooting.
- Must be a result-driven self-starter with good communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently and stand for up to 8 hours per day.
- Fluent in English required
