Shipping Lead Details:
Temporary position- $
19.00 to $ 25.00 / hour Full Time work availableSecond Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 01:30pm to10:00pm )
- Coordinates work assignments for shipping, receiving, unloading, palletizing and placing of product of inbound/outbound domestic shipments
- Review daily schedule requirements and assign personnel accordingly
- Ensure shipping/receiving documentation is processed accurately and promptly
- Ensure efficient and safe operations of all material handling equipment
- Maintain product locator system and ensure optimal efficiency and utilization of space
- Ensure that the work schedules are correctly implemented and the jobs are assigned effectively and completed properly
- Maintain an accountability of employee performance
- Oversee the accuracy and timeliness of all preparation and data entry of receiving and material movement documentation
- Coordinate activity with other departments as work flow increases or decreases
- Load/Unload and check in product for warehousing, palletize by SKU and lot numbers, verify quantities
Shipping Lead Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment a must
- Working knowledge of SAP, WMS and/or Manhattan Systems
- Previous leadership experience is preferred
- Working knowledge of Outlook (Email), MS Word, MS Excel· Strong written and verbal communication skills·
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, regularly throughout shift
- Overtime a must
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
