Production Planner Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
19.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughThursday from 09:00am to05:00pm )
- Will be overseeing the planning and processing of food ingredients in a production manufacturing environment. Coordinating resources, materials, and production capacity.
- Responsible for running critical ingredients and materials for all items in the work orders by verifying quantities, lots, expiration dates meeting necessary production dates.
- Will verify ingredients and inventory and reconcile any discrepancies found between inventory management systems.
- Identify any ingredients that are set to expire and schedule use of ingredients into production by date code.
- Complete proper documentation to request for the ingredients to be used in production before expiration date while meeting production goals.
- Stage the ingredients and will follow up with quality and warehouse teams to ensure completion of assigned task.
- Must be able to maintain a spreadsheet in which tracking the time the ingredient is staged, out for testing, and released for production and distribution.
- Follow up with quality on all new Ingredients that need to be tested, with testing dates and release dates.
Production Planner Qualifications:
- Leadership Experience
- Must have verifiable computer skills: Excel
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
- English required due to safety and Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
