Quality Assurance Technician Details:
Temporary position- $
18.22 to $ 23.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 10:00am to06:30pm )
- Temp mid Aug-end of Nov
- Assists the Quality Assurance Department by performing a variety of microbiological and chemical analysis on samples.
- This includes raw and finished material testing, analysis, grading, and evaluation for such purposes as quality control, process control, and product development.
- Maintains documentation as per regulatory agencies.
- Performs various tests with laboratory equipment and instruments.
Quality Assurance Technician Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- B.S. Degree in Microbiology, Food Science or equivalent preferred but not required.
- Laboratory testing experience required.
- Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and government regulations.
- Ability to recognize problems, analyze them, and offer solutions and use logical thought processes when making decisions required.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
