Bindery Operator Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.73 to $ 20.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to04:30pm )
- Set up and operate bindery equipment, such as cutting, folding, stitching, and binding machines, to process printed materials.
- Review job orders, specifications, and customer requirements to determine the appropriate setup and materials needed for each project.
- Adjust and calibrate machine settings to ensure accurate alignment, appropriate paper handling, and proper finishing of printed materials.
- Monitor production processes to identify and resolve any issues or malfunctions that may affect the quality or efficiency of operations, making adjustments as necessary.
- Inspect printed materials throughout the production process to ensure they meet quality standards, making adjustments and performing quality checks to maintain consistency.
Bindery Operator Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and technical skills to operate and troubleshoot bindery equipment effectively.
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for quality to ensure accurate and flawless finished products.
- Time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting to changes in production requirements and schedules.
- Basic mathematical skills to perform calculations, measurements, and adjustments required for bindery operations.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
