Quality Internal Auditor Details:

  • Direct Hire position
  • $45,000.00 to $50,000.00 /annually
  • First Shift
  • Conduct Quality Audits: Perform regular audits of production processes, materials, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards, industry regulations, and customer requirements.
  • Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to quality metrics, defect rates, and process performance. Identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement based on data insights.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of audit findings, corrective actions, and process improvements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with production teams, quality assurance personnel, and other relevant areas to address quality issues.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis to identify underlying factors contributing to quality issues or deviations from standards.
  • Training and Education: Provide training to production staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practices. Supplier
  • Quality Management: Collaborate with the procurement team to evaluate and monitor the quality of materials.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with relevant quality regulations, industry standards, and customer requirements applicable to automotive manufacturing.

Quality Internal Auditor Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in quality control, preferably in automotive manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of quality management principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, FMEA).
  • Proficiency in data analysis and statistical techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Certification in quality management (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Auditor) is a plus.
  • Certification of quality control is a strong advantage (ISO 9000 etc.)
  • Familiar with IATF
