Description
Design Manager
This role involves leading, managing, and retaining team members, ensuring they meet their productivity goals while driving continuous improvement in individual and team performance. The ideal candidate will be results and data driven, facilitating regular discussion with Quality Control, Quality Assurance and senior designers for opportunities for improved output. Responsibilities also include conducting regular one-on-one meetings, annual assessments, driving process improvements, and providing growth and development opportunities for team members. Critical thinking, adaptability and detail orientation are key for someone in this role.

Design Manager Details:
Direct Hire position- $
65,000.00 to $ 75,000.00 / annually Salaried ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
- Lead, manage and retain team members while holding them accountable to their monthly productivity goals.
- Own the maintenance of and drive improvement on individual scorecards and team performance.
- Facilitate regular quality discussions with QA/QC and drive improvements to request accuracy from designers.
- Plan and manage all Design Team projects, including but not limited to new product development, quality assurance training and product testing.
- Manage the timely completion of IPEMA certifications with Quality Control.
Design Manager Qualifications:
- 3-5 years in 3D modeling/design with proficiency in 3DS Max or similar, Adobe Creative Cloud
- 3+ years in people management or leadership role
- Project management skills and use of project management tools
