Diesel Mechanic Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
15.00 to $ 18.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 06:30am to04:00pm )
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, and electrical systems on heavy-duty trucks, buses, and other diesel-powered equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and more.
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure all repairs meet manufacturer and safety standards.
- Utilize diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and identify mechanical issues.
- Replace or repair faulty parts such as brakes, exhaust systems, fuel systems, and hydraulics.
Diesel Mechanic Qualifications:
- Mechanically inclined
- Experience in oil changes, auto mechanics, etc. preferred
- Schooling for Diesel Mechanic preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
