Network & System IT Engineer Tech Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.00 to $ 29.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
- Provide expert-level remote & onsite technology support to clients.
- Provide support to reconfigure software, hardware & network components to resolve technological problems with client computer equipment.
- Install& repair equipment including network cabling, desktop support, and server builds.
- Support routers, switches, firewalls, servers, VoIP, Active directory, etc.
Network & System IT Engineer Tech Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience working as a Network Systems Engineering Technician is required.
- CompTIA A+ certification required
- Other industry certifications are preferred
- Ability to physically install equipment & cabling. Occasional overnight stays may be required
- Requires skill sets:
- Active Directory (File sharing & security permissions)
- Attention to detail, following instructions & completing all assigned tasks
- AV/antimalware configuration/management/troubleshooting
- Backup and disaster recovery configuration/management/restore/troubleshooting
- Email systems (exchange/IMAP)
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
- Firewall configuration (VPN – software and p2p)
- General cyber security knowledge
- General desktop support (Windows 7, 8, & 10, Mac, iOS, & Android)
- Networked printer configuration
- QuickBooks usage and troubleshooting (not just server install)
- Virtualization (Windows Hyper-V / VMWare)
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
