Seeking a 2nd shift manufacturing supervisor. Experience needed.

Manufacturing Supervisor Details:

  • Temp-to-Hire position
  • $28.00 /hour
  • Full Time work available
  • Weekend work required
  • Second Shift (Monday through Friday from 03:00pm to 11:00pm)

•Supervise and lead a team of manufacturing operators, material handlers, and technicians to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

•Monitor and analyze production schedules, ensuring on-time delivery of products while maintaining quality standards.

•Train, mentor, and evaluate direct reports, providing guidance and feedback for their professional development.

•Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and quality assurance, to address production issues and implement process improvements.

•Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety policies and procedures, conducting regular safety inspections, and promoting a culture of safety awareness.

•Monitor and optimize equipment performance, coordinating with maintenance personnel for repairs and preventive maintenance activities.

•Generate and analyze production reports, highlighting key performance indicators and suggesting areas for improvement.

•Assure constant and efficient workflow through organized planning of priorities, capabilities and capacities.

 

 


Manufacturing Supervisor Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Manufacturing Supervisor or similar role in a plastic injection molding or related manufacturing environment
  •  Ability to receive, comprehend and utilize required training from OSHA and Company including but not limited to the following: - Hazard Communication - Lock Out/Tag Out - First Aid and CPR (optional) - Forklift
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Applicant may be subject to a background check
  • Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
