Tool Room Technician Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 06:00am to02:00pm )
- Weld, assemble and fabricate equipment with minimal direction
- Assemble and test prototype fuel rails and pipes
- Assist in engineering projects
- Assemble electrical cabinets & wiring from wiring schematics
- Layout, specify and assemble hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
- Read prints including GD&T Surface plate layout
- Work overtime as required to support production equipment needs
- Update and maintain work requests
- Maintain safety protocols when building equipment
- Use micrometers, calipers, and scales
Tool Room Technician Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED is required.
- Trade school certification in machine build/fabrication or proof of equivalent machine building experience are preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals written in English.
- Supply your own hand tools, micrometers, calipers, scales and basic machinists' tools.
- Able to lift 50lbs.
- Able to stand for an 8+ hour shift.
