Maintenance Technician Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
30.00 to $ 45.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 06:00am to06:00pm )
- The Maintenance Technician’s primary responsibility is for the maintenance and upkeep of the equipment and facility to ensure a safe working environment, which allows for quality food safe product to be produced when our customers need it.
Maintenance Technician Qualifications:
- Strong electrical background with PLC and motor control experience.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment relating to the process and packaging of oils and all related products.
- Ability to weld stainless steel as well as carbon steel utilizing all accepted welding methods while maintaining a food safe finish.
- Working knowledge of shop tools relating to the trade.
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and ladder logic documentation.
- Ability to read and understand technical terminology written in English in Operator and Maintenance manuals.
- Must be able to utilize time wisely and be able to work with limited supervision.
- Must become qualified to operate required forklifts and personnel lifts in a safe and efficient manner.
- Working knowledge of lathe and mill preferred.
- Oregon State Limited Maintenance Electrician license preferred.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
