Heavy Equipment Mechanic Details:
Temporary position- $
27.00 to $ 30.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
- Maintenance and repair: Perform scheduled maintenance, such as cleaning and lubricating parts, and repair or replace defective parts.
- Diagnosis: Use computerized tools and equipment to identify malfunctions Overhaul: Overhaul and test major components, such as engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems
- Record keeping: Keep records of equipment condition and work performed
Heavy Equipment Mechanic Qualifications:
- An Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification is an industry standard that many employers prefer. Certifications can show your ability to fix certain types of machines or expertise in specific repair techniques
- 2–5 years of experience in heavy equipment or diesel repair is required.
- The ability to troubleshoot mechanical problems
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
