Industrial Electrician

Industrial Electrician Details:

• Direct Hire position
• $42.00 /hour
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 03:30pm)

• Responds to and problem solves & repairs machine breakdowns.
• Adhere to safety procedures such as Lock-Out/Tag-Out, elevated work, confined space, etc.
• Apply electrical theory to determine root causes of failures and their corrective actions.
• Work with other maintenance & engineering personnel to accomplish repair, PM and project tasks.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks, report and or make necessary repairs.
• Interpret electrical schematics & PLC programs.
• Conduit installation and wire sizing.
• Understands the functions of electrical and electro-mechanical items such as sensors, relays, limit switches, flow switches, valves etc.
• Troubleshooting of relay logic, PLCs and AC/DC drives from various manufacturers.
• Troubleshooting and preventative maintenance of motors up to 2400VAC and 500VDC.
• Troubleshooting of an entire electrical system with HDMI’s/VFD’s to determine root cause of either mechanical or electrical failures, (example of actuator valves not opening, is it the program, the actuator or the valve).
• Use electrical testing equipment such as digital multimeters, insulation testers, thermal imagers etc.
• Operate mobile equipment such as Forklifts, scissor and articulating lifts as needed to perform work.
• Use computer MRO system to perform work orders, preventative maintenance tasks and search inventory for spare components.
• Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces.
• Ability to work in cold/hot weather and outside (when necessary) year-round.
