Delivery Driver Details:
Direct Hire position- $
22.00 to $ 24.00 / hour First Shift
- Safely operate a 26ft box truck for the delivery of various heavy and fragile items.
- Load, unload, and secure items to ensure safe transport.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules for timely deliveries.
- Maintain a clean and organized truck.
- Provide excellent customer service when delivering items to customers.
- Assist with item placement as needed upon delivery.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to address any delivery-related issues or delays.
- Complete delivery paperwork and maintain accurate records of deliveries and mileage.
Delivery Driver Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in handling deliveries of heavy and fragile items (appliances, furniture, copiers, etc.).
- Experience driving a 26ft box truck (no CDL required).
- Proven job stability with at least 2 years at previous employers.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
