Production Worker (Baler Operator) Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.00 to $ 19.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
Third Shift ( Sunday throughSaturday from 07:00am to07:00pm )
- Assist and operate various packaging equipment
- Work in close proximity of machines that compress wood by-products generated from mill operations or like manufacturing processes
- Open compression chamber doors, facilitates placement of bags and removal of bales from packaging equipment
- Record bales weights and keep records of daily activity per company standards
- Perform routine maintenance on packaging equipment
Production Worker (Baler Operator) Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Forklift certified or able to obtain forklift certification to perform basic forklift duties time to time required by the company
- Manufacturing and production line experience preferred
- Will be lifting 50 lbs. and standing for a minimum of 7 hours per day
- Requires mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills; as well as the ability to do simple math calculations
- Must possess good eye, hand and foot coordination
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
