Elwood Staffing is seeking a diligent and reliable Industrial Facilities Cleaner to join our client’s team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safety in an industrial facility. This role is crucial for ensuring a clean and efficient work environment that meets health and safety standards.

Industrial Facilities Cleaner Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
19.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 06:00am to02:30pm )
- Maintain Cleanliness of Manufacturing Facilities
- Performs both light and heavy janitorial duties in a manufacturing environment.
- Additional accountabilities as required.
- Facility Audits and Improvement Planning/Back up
- Accountable for assessing facility conditions at regular intervals and reporting hazards identified, along with repair needs and other opportunities for facility improvements to the Plant Manager.
- Fill in as back up for the designated pellet mill operator and/or packaging operator when needed
- Assist with PM accountabilities as needed
- Perform other duties as required.
Industrial Facilities Cleaner Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Experience in production
- One to two years of production line experience in an industrial setting is highly preferred
- Must possess good eye, hand and foot coordination
- Ability to concentrate for extended periods of time and multi-task
- Will be lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for a minimum of 7 hours per day
- Requires mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Requires the ability to do simple math calculations
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
