Billing & Coding Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
16.00 to $ 18.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00am )
The Patient Accounts Representative performs any and all assigned duties pertaining to patient billing as well as directly communicating with patients to collect monies. Assigned duties may include medical billing and coding; patient verification, claim follow up and appeals; and, posting account credits.
Billing & Coding Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid policies
- Knowledge and understanding of HIPAA and Sarbanes Oxley
- Knowledge of the common components of the health care reimbursement system in the United States
- Minimum 1 year of experience with Billing & Coding.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Applicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
