Maintenance/Janitor Details:
Temporary position- $
17.00 / hour Part Time work availableFirst Shift ( Tuesday throughThursday from 08:00am to02:00pm )
Cleaning Tasks include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing floors; sanitizing restrooms, offices, and other frequently used areas; washing windows, mirrors, and glass partitions; dusting furniture, walls, and equipment; as well as cleaning and restoring areas that have been damaged.
Maintenance Responsibilities involve performing minor repairs, such as changing light fixtures or clearing clogged pipes; ensuring the proper functioning of heating and cooling systems; keeping the janitorial room organized and clean; and replacing air filters as needed.
Other duties This includes emptying trash and recycling containers; clearing snow and debris from walkways; mowing lawns and trimming hedges; managing and restocking supply rooms; and alerting supervisors to any unsafe conditions.
Maintenance/Janitor Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal communication.
- Organizational skills.
- friendly demeanor and be able to work well with coworkers.
- Ability to operate industrial cleaning equipment or snow removal equipment Skills to make minor repairs (drywall repair, paint restorations, etc.)
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to keep an organized record of cleaning supply inventory
- Ability to perform maintenance checks on Sump pumps Problem-solving skills
- Computer knowlegde
