Maintenance Technician Details:

  • Temp-to-Hire position
  • $30.00 to $35.00 /hour
  • Full Time work available
  • First Shift (Monday through Thursday)
  • Assist Production to ensure the application of safe work and food safety practices are met.
  • Inspect work area for worker safety and food safety issues.
  • Correct deficiencies immediately when possible
  • Comply with all Food Safety policies, procedures, regulations including G.M.P.s,
  • Quality Assurance Procedures, Hazard Analaysis Critical Ensure that the Boiler is supplied with the proper amounts of chemicals and that all operational procedures are followed
  • Operate and maintain the refrigeration system to ensure safety and maximum capability.
  • Drain oil as required.
  • Inspect and maintain all components of the ammonia system to IIAR standards
  • Troubleshoot, Repair, Rebuilt, or Replace all plant equipment when needed.
  • Understand the operation of all equipment in the plant and maintain it to operate the highest efficiency possible.
  • Fabrication of parts, platforms, piping, equipment and other items needed to efficiently and safely run the plant.
  • Assist in keeping the Shop and all Maintenance storage areas clean and pest free
  • Periodic and regular cleaning tasks including sweeping, moping and others to keep the work area organized and in compliance with GMP’s

Maintenance Technician Qualifications:

  • Strong electrical background with PLC and motor control experience.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment relating to the process and packaging of oils and all related products.
  • Ability to weld stainless steel as well as carbon steel utilizing all accepted welding methods while maintaining a food safe finish.
  • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and ladder logic documentation.
  • Must be able to perform mathematical functions to determine volumes and ratios.
  • Applicant may be subject to a background check
