Maintenance Technician Details:
Direct Hire position- $
25.00 to $ 40.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:30am to04:00pm )
- Performs routine and emergency mechanical, hydraulic/pneumatic, and electrical maintenance. Troubleshoots, repairs and replacement of components as required on machines to assure satisfactory operations with minimum down time. Troubleshoot and maintains all associated equipment including robot, conveyors, and temperature control units.
- Work from drawings, mechanical and pneumatic/hydraulic prints, electrical diagrams, manufacturers’ printed instructions to troubleshoot and locate mechanical, hydraulic/pneumatic and electrical problems in functional and control system. Adjust repairs or replace defective parts or materials. Perform routine preventative maintenance inspections of hydraulic/pneumatic valves, lines, connections, pumps and check micro-preventative maintenance schedule.
- Verifies operation of machine sequence. Removes, cleans and replaces screw and barrel as required. Inspects parts while disassembled. Assures all heater bands elements are operable. Replaces worn out units. Rebuilds hydraulic valves and pumps as necessary. Documents all findings and measurements.
Maintenance Technician Qualifications:
- Detail oriented (Safety)
- Hydraulic knowledge (Able to read hydraulic prints)
- Electrical knowledge (Able to read electrical prints)
- Understanding of facility maintenance
- Organizational skills
- Knowledge of robotics and automation
- PLC knowledge
- Good understanding of 5S
- Problem solving skills. • Strong computer skills
- Strong math skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities in a fast paced production environment
- Ability to operate a forklift, hoist, and pallet jack
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
