Technician Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
25.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
First Shift ( Monday throughSunday from 12:00am to12:00am )
- Shop Driver / Technician
- Day and Night Shift - Day: 6 am-5PM Monday - Friday with potential on call on Saturday Night: 5PM-4AM Monday - Friday with potential on call on Sunday
- Inspecting, maintaining, repairing, & splicing ESP Cable.
- Partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver successful projects & develop continuous improvements
- Performs pressure & electrical tests on manufactured MLE
- Completes & maintains associated paperwork & logs production time via computer
- Supporting all aspects of cable services including spooling & testing electrical power cable utilized on ESP systems
- Working to pre-defined procedures (SWI) in line with established work practices & quality standards
- Assisting in incident investigations and troubleshooting & diagnosing cable issues
- Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, & use a variety of hand & power tools
Technician Qualifications:
- Have relevant industry experience (electronic, oilfield, automotive) with excellent mechanical aptitude (soldering electronic components, reading engineering diagrams, etc)
- Mechanical skills, & the ability to multitask
- Be able problem-solve, process improvement & analytical skills
- Proficient in reading & interpreting high & low voltage testing methods & procedures, blue-print drawings, & parts lists
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Applicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
