Fabrication Production Manager Details:

  • Direct Hire position
  • $90,000.00 to $110,000.00 /annually
  • Salaried
  • Assist the VP of Operations in planning, scheduling, and coordinating production activities to ensure smooth workflow and optimal resource utilization.
  • Monitor and track production progress against established targets, identifying potential delays or issues, and recommending corrective actions. 
  • Support the management of production staff, including providing guidance, addressing performance issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate production records, reports, and documentation for internal and external audits.
  • Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and quality control teams to ensure timely availability of materials and adherence to quality standards.
  • Help implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize processes.
  • Act as a liaison between the production floor and other departments to ensure clear communication and resolve any production-related issues.
  • Conduct regular inspections of production equipment and facilities, and report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel. 
  • Participate in regular production meetings, provide updates, and contribute to strategic planning efforts.

Fabrication Production Manager Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in a supervisory or assistant management role.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and production management software (e.g., ERP systems).
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies
  • Ability to analyze data, generate reports, and present findings to management. 
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations and quality control standards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
