Fabrication Production Manager Details:
Direct Hire position- $
90,000.00 to $ 110,000.00 / annually Salaried
- Assist the VP of Operations in planning, scheduling, and coordinating production activities to ensure smooth workflow and optimal resource utilization.
- Monitor and track production progress against established targets, identifying potential delays or issues, and recommending corrective actions.
- Support the management of production staff, including providing guidance, addressing performance issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Assist in maintaining accurate production records, reports, and documentation for internal and external audits.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and quality control teams to ensure timely availability of materials and adherence to quality standards.
- Help implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize processes.
- Act as a liaison between the production floor and other departments to ensure clear communication and resolve any production-related issues.
- Conduct regular inspections of production equipment and facilities, and report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
- Participate in regular production meetings, provide updates, and contribute to strategic planning efforts.
Fabrication Production Manager Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field (preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in a supervisory or assistant management role.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and production management software (e.g., ERP systems).
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies
- Ability to analyze data, generate reports, and present findings to management.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations and quality control standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
