Safety & Compliance Coordinator Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
23.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
- Developing and enforcing safety policies and procedures.
- Conducting safety audits and risk assessments. Investigating accidents and near misses.
- Delivering safety training to employees.
- Maintaining safety records and documentation.
- Monitoring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Collaborating with management to identify and address safety concerns.
Safety & Compliance Coordinator Qualifications:
- Must have knowledge of OSHA and DOT rules and regulations.
- Must have 2-5 years experience working in, or with manufacturing based FTZ operations, U.S.
- Must have knowledge in Customs and import laws and Regulations and working with and communicating with U.S. Customs and Border Protection, and other government agencies.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, etc.
- Certification in Compliance Management is a plus!
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
