Manual Machinist Details:
Direct Hire position- $
20.00 to $ 30.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
- Create a duplicate part from an already existing piece manually without any wear or flaw present in the original
- Operate and use lathe, drill press, micrometer, and grinding machines as required
- Follow blueprints to create the appropriate tools and components
- Other duties as assigned
Manual Machinist Qualifications:
- Machinist vocational certificate or completed industry apprenticeship required and needed
- Knowledge of geometry, fractions, decimals, and general mathematics highly preferred
- Able to measure in thousands of an inch
- Must be able to stand for long periods of times, lift up to 75lbs. throughout the shift, push, pull, and carry.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
