Fiberglass Repair Technician Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.00 to $ 25.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:30am to04:30pm )
- You will be responsible for assessing and repairing damage to fiberglass components, including cracks, chips, and delamination.
- You will utilize a variety of techniques, tools, and materials to restore fiberglass structures, ensuring a high-quality finish and durability.
- Match and apply gelcoat to repair and restore the original surface finish on fiberglass components such as boats, vehicles, or other structures.
Fiberglass Repair Technician Qualifications:
- Proven experience with fiberglass repair techniques and materials.
- Knowledge and experience with gelcoat application and color matching.
- Expertise in putty/filler application to repair damaged areas.
- Strong proficiency in the sanding and shaping process prior to gelcoat application.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools such as grinders, sanders, and spray guns.
- Ability to work with precision and attention to detail to achieve smooth, consistent finishes.
- Strong physical ability to work in various positions, bend, kneel, and lift moderate weights.
- Experience with fiberglass repairs on boats, vehicles, or other specialized structures.
- Certification or formal training in fiberglass repair (preferred, but not required).
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
