Quality Technician

Quality Technician Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $19.00 /hour
• Full Time work available
• Various shifts available (Monday through Friday)

• 1-2 years of experience with gages, calibrations, and quality documents.
• CMM experience required
• PPAP experience required
• Communicate material issues back to vendors (Casting – Forging non-conformities).
• Request Material RGA/RMA from suppliers in order to get material returned for analysis.
• Able to accurately use gages applicable to CNC machining (i.e. Dial Bore Gages, Micrometers, Snap Gages, Pitch Micrometers, Depth Calipers, Calipers, Depth Micrometers, Plug Gages, Thread Plugs, Thread Set Plugs, Master Rings, OD Thread Rings.
• Able to perform Full Dimensional Layouts on product for PPAP purposes.
• Demonstrate proficiency in AIAG Core Tool (APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA PFMEA).
• IATF awareness.
• Demonstrate proficiency in problem solving methodology with applicable problem-solving tools (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone).
• Able to perform Process and Product audits relative to the internal QMS along with Customer Specific Requirements.
• Complete setup reports and verify measured readings from the floor.
• Approve setups by signoff on setup report and affixing an Approval Tag on the setup piece the layout piece.
• Support and execute containment activities.
