Cylinder Technician Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
17.00 to $ 18.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to04:00pm )
- Load and unload trucks or pallets with cylinders to test or with completed cylinders.
- Perform initial visual inspection on cylinders, while identify contents prior to removing labels.
- Shot blast cylinders and move to next work area.
- Re-qualify acetylene cylinders according to established procedures.
- Repair and re-valve cylinders as necessary and according to established procedures.
Cylinder Technician Qualifications:
- Stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work with hand tools and mechanical equipment
- Attention to detail required.
- Previous knowledge of cylinders and industrial gases is preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
