2nd shift Maintenance Technician

Perform duties to maintain and repair a variety of building and plant equipment and lead engineering projects.

2nd shift Maintenance Technician Details:

Assemble and install equipment per project work order for entire plant.
Perform electrical hard wiring per electrical blueprint.
Install P.L.C. programs per project work orders per Electrical Engineers instruction.
Trouble shoots and repairs equipment, electrical and mechanical.
Perform essential functions of Maintenance S, A, B and other duties as assigned.
Back up for Maintenance Supervisor.
Directs day to day activities of maintenance staff on designated shift based on assigned priorities
Directs and tracks activities on projects and reports to Maintenance Supervisor.
Communicates from shift to shift with other shift SP’s
Follows and enforces all safety rules and maintenance 5-s.

2nd shift Maintenance Technician Qualifications:

Ability to read blueprints and Pneumatical/Electrical/Wiring/P.L.C. diagrams.
Understanding of Mechanical/Pneumatics/Electronic devices/Mechanisms.
Must be good at multitasking.
Must be able to effectively communicate via two-way radio across all departments.
3 to 5 years experience in Maintenance S or Electrical Engineering or equivalent field preferred.
Must have leadership skills and be able to lead a group of maintenance personnel or contractors.
