Staff Accountant Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
22.00 to $ 24.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
- Assist the CFO in carrying out day-to-day responsibility of the accounting and finance operations
- Oversee and/or process billings, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and reconcile cash and balance sheet accounts
- Monitor and reconcile government grant budgets
- Maintain strictest confidentiality
- Maintain billings, grants, contracts, insurance and other organizational records
- Present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and the general public
Staff Accountant Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and work experience with double-entry bookkeeping
- Experience and/or training in federal “Single Audit” (formerly A-133) level audits
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
