Route Service Technician Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to04:30pm )
As a Route Service Technician, the candidate will be performing preventive maintenance on control units by conducting service calls during monthly & quarterly route visits. The Route Service Technician works with the shop foreman to get parts and solutions caught up on a daily basis. This position requires working on special projects such as freezes, chlorination, water collection and assisting plumber/shop area as needed.
Duties
- Deliver treatment solutions to Corrosion Control Unit locations.
- Perform Preventive maintenance including equipment and solution inspections and water chemistry tests.
- Establish a working relationship with Building/Facility managers understand the conditions of plumbing systems and any issues and to provide proactive service and response.
- Record on-site repairs performed and communicate to management of any changes or problems.
- Travel for work is required usually 4–7 days at a time and limited up to twice annually.
Route Service Technician Qualifications:
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Route service and commercial plumbing experience is a plus
- Mechanically Skilled
- Valid Driver License
- Exceptional Customer Service Skills
- Ability to Lift up to 65 lbs
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Applicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
