Yard Shuttle Driver Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
13.50 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
First Shift ( Monday throughSaturday from 06:00am to02:45pm )
- Yard Shuttle Driver
- $13.50/hrThis position will conduct safe and efficient vehicle movement and parking. In addition, this position will conduct preparations on vehicles for various stages of logistics processing
- • Perform proper vehicle handling procedures
- • Maintain appropriate anti-mutilation gear while operating car
- • Drive and park vehicles in accordance with vehicle handling procedures
- • Obey all traffic laws while operating vehicles
- • Drive vehicles following a set schedule or route
- • Operate vehicles while watching surroundings to maximize safety
- • Maintain constant contact with the Team Leader and keep track of pickup and drop-off locations as necessary
- • Prior to driving vehicles, inspect vehicles to ensure that it is damage-free and functioning correctly
- • Follow all port traffic policies and posted speed limits
Yard Shuttle Driver Qualifications:
- Experience with mechanical assembly on vehicles required
- Must be able to read written instructions and drawings including electrical drawings
- Must have the ability to frequently stand, bend, climb, squat, crawl in vehicles, and lift up to 50lbs Must have a valid driver's license
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Applicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
