A cabinet maker is a skilled craftsperson who designs, cuts, shapes, assembles, and installs custom wooden cabinets and furniture pieces, often working from blueprints and client specifications, utilizing various woodworking tools and machinery to create functional and aesthetically pleasing products with precise attention to detail; their responsibilities include measuring, marking wood, operating power saws, jointers, and other equipment, fitting components together, applying finishes like stain or paint, and installing hardware like hinges and pulls.
