Surface Treatment Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.00 to $ 23.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
Various shifts available ( Sunday throughSaturday from 06:00am to06:00pm )
- Setup blasting, metalizing, and paint equipment by setting parameters and making adjustments
- Utilize wash, blast, metalize, and paint equipment and tooling to prep and paint the internal and external surface of a tower section
- Perform product quality inspections and make corrections as required
- Operate material handling equipment, overhead crane and rigging, fork trucks, and bogies to relocate tower section components
Surface Treatment Qualifications:
- 1 year work experience in a heavy fabrication industry, surface prep and/or paint industry, construction, welding, or other related field or course work in welding, machining, auto body paint and repair, construction, or other related field through an accredited technical school or apprentice program
- Must be able to read and interpret production drawings and technical work instructions
- Wearing respirator or fresh air supply hoods
- Frequent lifting of up to 40 pounds from floor to shoulder height, Standing and or walking for periods up to 3 hours
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
