Description
HSE Coordinator
Health Safety and Environmental Coordinator opportunity in a distribution environment (around 40 employees onsite). Temp to perm, $25-$30 per hour DOE + strong benefits package after permanency. Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.

HSE Coordinator Details:
Contract to Hire position- $
25.00 to $ 30.00 / hour First Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
- Provide HSE guidance, support and oversight to personnel
- Act as a trusted HSE subject matter expert who drives the culture of HSE excellence at the project level
- Maintain HSE documentation and applicable records
- Create/update and lead HSE orientation and training delivery (PowerPoint)
- Coordinate project-level HSE inspections
- Coordinate completion of corrective actions to address HSE deficiencies
- Manage, respond to, investigate and report HSE accidents/incidents/near misses
- Emergency response processes
- Facilities management administrative duties
HSE Coordinator Qualifications:
- Must be computer savvy with Microsoft Office and possess strong administrative skills
- 2- 4 year degree with focus on Industrial Safety, Sustainability or Environment Management preferred OR experience on a safety committee
- Previous experience in an HSE (health safety environmental) position or the above mentioned degree focus
- Experience in a distribution environment preferred
