Sanitation Worker Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.00 / hour Full Time work availableThird Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 10:00pm to06:30am )
•Perform standard cleaning procedures as documented and trained for equipment and facilities. This includes: disassembly/assembly, application of cleaning and sanitizing chemicals, scrubbing, and rinsing.
•Use personal protective equipment as required for each cleaning task performed.
•Combine and mix required cleaning agents as documented for each cleaning assignment.
•Understands safe operation of equipment including safety devices and guards. Use caution and follow correct handling procedures.
•Collect and remove all remaining trash from production and packaging lines, kitchen, and warehouse areas. Dispose of trash in outside trash dumpsters and collect recycle materials and dispose of in recycle bins.
•Notify the Sanitation Team Leader or on-duty mechanic of any malfunctioning equipment immediately.
•Inspect each cleaning job upon completion to ensure job has been performed correctly. Correct any substandard conditions.
Sanitation Worker Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food production sanitation, custodial or janitorial experience required
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations (HACCP, GMPs, FDA, USDA). and ability to work with cleaning chemicals safely and operate sanitation equipment is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive motions.
- Reliable transportation required, does not run on bus line
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
