Aerospace Technician I Details:
Temporary position- $
20.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
•Read, understand, and execute work instructions to build mechanical assemblies.
•Assemble and verify precision tooling and spaceflight hardware using metrology equipment such as laser trackers and scanners.
•Build assemblies for flight with the use of small diameter string and precision tensioning techniques.
•Perform fine detail mechanical assembly for spaceflight with delicate parts.
•Communicate with engineers and the production team to status work progress, confirm priorities, and keep work moving to schedule.
•Verify final built configuration of assemblies’ match engineering detailed in the work instructions and assembly drawing.
•Identify non-conforming parts encountered during the build process through notification to supervisor, engineering, and/or quality.

•Performs other related duties as assigned.
Aerospace Technician I Qualifications:
• Experience performing light mechanical assembly is a plus
• Aerospace related experience/education is favorable but not required
• Technical writing skills preferred
• Preferred experience with calibrated tools and equipment
• Ability to read and work to engineering documentation
• Possess strong problem solving and communication abilities
- High standard of workmanship is a must
