Elwood Staffing would like to inform job seekers about potential employment scams that involve individuals posing as our recruiters to solicit job seekers with job opportunities unrelated to our company. This issue has been reported in multiple states. The text scam poses as an Elwood Staffing recruiter and urges job seekers to apply for a fraudulent job. Some have reported they are being asked to contact them using Whatsapp to pay for computer equipment and background checks.

What steps should you take if you suspect you've received a fraudulent text?

Job-seekers who receive an unsolicited text, email, or similar message suggesting it is from Elwood Staffing should not provide any information.
If you have clicked a suspicious link or shared your information, take steps to secure your personal and financial accounts immediately. Review and dispute any unauthorized charges.

Helping you stay secure - how to recognize a scam

Elwood Staffing does not utilize mobile apps or messenger services to connect with job seekers. We will not reach out to you through or suggest that you use WhatsApp or other messaging platforms outside of regular SMS text messaging for communication.
Our recruiters will never ask for personal information such as your social security number, date of birth, or bank information prior to onboarding. During onboarding you will enter your information and passcode protect it.

Coating Scheduler Details:

Temp-to-Hire position
$24.00 /hour
Full Time work available
First Shift (Monday through Friday from 05:30am to 02:00pm)

Essential duties and functions, pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, may include the following. Other related duties may be assigned.
Develop and maintain production schedules for coating operations, considering customer orders, capacity constraints, and material availability.
Allocate jobs to specific chambers based on specifications and delivery schedule
Schedule development and test runs for the chambers
Adjust the schedule as needed to account unforeseen events
Learn to coat all the chambers
Coat as needed; relieve other coaters who need to go to lunch.
Make spectral measurements on a variety of spectrophotometers
Expedite parts on the shop floor
Report problems and issues in a timely fashion

Coating Scheduler Qualifications:

Minimum: • 2-year experience in manufacturing production scheduling, preferably in a coating or similar industry.
AS Degree or equivalent. In some cases, extensive experience can be substituted for formal education
Must be Bilingual-Spanish/English

Applicant may be subject to a background check
Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
