Exciting opportunity with a national manufacturing facility for an experienced Machine Shop supervisor. This is a direct-hire opportunity for the right candidate.

Machine Shop Supervisor Details:
Direct Hire position- $
36.00 to $ 39.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
First Shift
- Oversee and manage the machine shop team and functions
- Work with all levels of the production team including engineers, production coordinators, machinists, operators, leadership, etc.
- Coordinate production schedules, assign tasks to team, track progress to meet deadlines
- Troubleshoot issues to ensure quality control measures are followed
Machine Shop Supervisor Qualifications:
- 4+ years experience in manufacturing machine shop required
- 2+ years experience in a supervisory role
- Strong leadership abilities are required
- Ability to think strategically & work well under pressure
- Knowledge of CNC & manual machining & manufacturing processes
- Lean Mfg., Six Sigma or other improvement methods preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Must be willing to work in a heavy industrial shop in a dirty working environment
