Safety Administrative Assistant Details:

  • Temp-to-Hire position
  • $18.00 to $22.67 /hour
  • Full Time work available
  • First Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 04:00pm)
  • Schedule: Mon-Fri 7:00am-4:00pm or 6:00am-3:00pm
  • Pay: $18.00/hr during probationary period then goes up to $22.67/hr.
  • Inspects the facility to identify safety, health, and environmental risks
  • Monitors compliance with safety procedures
  • Maintain Safety Audit Action Log
  • Assist with maintaining the Safety Training Program
  • Maintain Environmental compliance and regulations
  • Filing confidentiality documents
  • Participate in GDPM’s Lean 5S and Kaizen programs

Safety Administrative Assistant Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year administrative experience required
  • Experience with tracking water and air quality reporting with DEQ preferred
  • Knowledge of safety manufacturing processes and reporting preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and data entry
  • Enjoys working in a team driven work environment
  • Applicant may be subject to a background check
  • Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
