Lead Operator Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
28.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
First Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
- Abilities The Lead Operator is a pivotal position that oversees daily operations across district facilities.
- This role ensures that all operational procedures are followed, maintains all working faces, and provides on-the-job training for staff.
- The Lead Operator must be proficient in operating all types of heavy machinery in all weather conditions and may be required to travel between multiple facilities in a single day.
- Additionally, this position plays a key role in equipment maintenance coordination, ensures all machines are properly greased and that leadership is informed of heavy equipment service needs.
Lead Operator Qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge of heavy equipment operation, maintenance and trouble shooting.
- Ability to train and mentor other operators.
- Ability to read blueprints, site plans and operational diagrams.
- Commercial Driver’s License a plus.
- Previous leadership experience a plus.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Applicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
