Industrial Equipment Safety Technician Details:
Temporary position- $
35.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
First Shift ( Monday throughFriday )
Position Requirements
•Solid verbal/written communication skills coupled with strong organizational and interpersonal skills
.•Must have a basic understanding of machinery, electrical, pneumatics and hydraulic systems, machine interlocks and safeguard systems.
•Advanced computer skills – high proficiency in Microsoft products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook) with the ability to grasp new systems quickly
.•Ability to work overtime based on business needs
.•Ability to collaborate with hourly and salary personnel to meet the needs of the shop
.•High initiative, self-starter, proactive, dedicated, results oriented.
•Discipline and must be able to work well in a team.
•Ability to follow instructions and work independently with little guidance
.•Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time; ability to bend and to lift 50lbs
.•Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends.
•Ability to multi-task, to manage shifting priorities and to follow through on projects with minimal supervision.
Industrial Equipment Safety Technician Qualifications:
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering or Occupational Safety degree or similar
• 3 years’ experience in an equipment technician type role in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on and relevant experience with industrial equipment safety.
