Yard Hand Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
21.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift
- Load and unload rental equipment, including pumps, tanks, pipe, and hoses.
- Clean, inspect, and maintain equipment before and after rentals.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining the yard, ensuring all equipment is properly stored.
- Operate forklifts, loaders, and other yard equipment as required.
- Perform routine maintenance on company tools and machinery.
- Work with drivers and technicians to prepare orders for delivery.
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
- Assist with inventory management and tracking.
- Other duties as assigned by the Yard Supervisor or management.
Yard Hand Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in a similar role or industrial yard environment is a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and experience with tools preferred.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
