Yard Foreman Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
First Shift ( Monday throughSaturday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
- Supervising and coordinating yard activities, including the receiving, storing, and loading of materials.
- Directing yard employees in daily operations.
- Ensuring safe work habits for all staff.
- Coordinating with other departments and personnel.
- Inventory and Material Handling:
- Maintaining accurate inventory levels.
- Ensuring proper storage and organization of materials and equipment.
- Supervising the loading and unloading of trucks and trailers.
- Assisting with filling customer orders.
Yard Foreman Qualifications:
- Leadership and Supervisory Skills:
- Ability to effectively direct and motivate a team.
- Organizational Skills:
- Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient yard.
- Communication Skills:
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees, customers, and other departments.
- Safety Knowledge: Understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting and loading materials.
- Knowledge of the Industry:
- Familiarity with the specific materials, equipment, and processes used in the industry.
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is often preferred.
