CNC Machine Operator
Our client is seeking a reliable and experienced CNC Setup Operator to work at their Bourbon location. Pay is $18-$24 per hour, based on experience.

CNC Machine Operator Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.00 to $ 24.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to03:30pm )
JOB DUTIES
- Load part programs into the machine memory and make necessary edits
- Read blueprints, tooling instructions and standard charts to determine product specifications, work holding arrangement, cutting speeds, feed rates, and cutting tools to be used
- Move controls, cams and stops to set rotations speeds and feed rates
- Change or install chucks or chuck jaws, collet systems
- Change tools and tool holders including boring bars, stick tools, drills, taps, reamers, mills
- Direct the machine to the proper tool position after installing new tools
- Acquire gauging, sets up and masters gauging including the optical comparator
- Maintain and understands SPC charting techniques Verify conformance of turned parts to specifications, using measuring instruments, such as micrometers, calipers and fixed gauges
- Safely operate electric pallet jack and/or forklift
- Maintain machine in reference to cleaning, lubricants, coolant, etc.
- Operate stamping press
CNC Machine Operator Qualifications:
- Previous CNC experience REQUIRED
- CNC Lathe experience preferred
- Steel Toed Shoes REQUIRED
- High school or equivalent preferred
- Ability to work in warmer temperatures at times, work necessary overtime, stand for shift, and 50 lbs.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
