This senior leadership role is ideal for a results-oriented professional with a proven track record in commercial construction sales and a deep understanding of the subcontracting and estimating process.

Director of Business Development Details:

  • Direct Hire position
  • $90,000.00 to $105,000.00 /annually
  • First Shift
  • The Director of Business Development will lead the sales and estimating efforts, develop key industry relationships, and drive revenue growth.
  • This senior leadership role is ideal for a results-oriented professional with a proven track record in commercial construction sales and a deep understanding of the subcontracting and estimating process.
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to increase revenue and market share.
  • Oversee and manage the estimating team to ensure accurate and competitive project pricing.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, millwork firms, and key stakeholders.
  • Lead and mentor the sales team, setting clear performance goals and accountability standards.
  • Identify new business opportunities and emerging market trends in commercial construction.
  • Review bids, proposals, and contracts to maximize profitability and maintain competitiveness.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities. 

Director of Business Development Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of sales leadership experience in commercial construction, architectural millwork, or engineered materials.
  • Strong knowledge of subcontracting, estimating, and the bid process.
  • Proven ability to lead successful sales teams and achieve revenue targets.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience with CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
